February 20, 2020 MARDI GRAS celebration. Our members learned about how costumes and floats are made for the New Orleans parade, we saw and felt an authentic country side costume made from leftover material pieces, we ordered an authentic King cake that is used for dessert in New Orleans. Mississippi Queen (Connie) located on King St in Hamilton, baked this authentic cake that we had for dessert. Whoever finds the tiny baby baked within the cake, is the King or Queen for the day. Conrgatulations to Silvana who was Queen for the day. We made masks for Carnivale- a great day all in all. See you soon, unless the snow keeps us away,... again.

Celebrating Valentine's Theme day. We are so happy to be back, the snow kept us away last week, and almost today. We made heart shaped pin cushions, had fun with heart-shaped glasses, played concentration in the afternoon and ended with Bingo. See you all soon!

December 12, 2019 - If these pictures don't make you smile! LOL We ended our year with Christmas cheer and fun. We had a penny sale style raffle that ensured all members won a donated gift. Thanks to Nardini Specialties, Swiss Chalet, Fascination Florists, Metro and our own members and volunteers. We were entertained by Terri's guitar playing and led by our own members in sing-alongs. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of you! See you in February 2020!

December 5, 2019 - Louanne gave each of our members a personalized name tag with treats inside the box, thank you Louanne! We had so much fun making our own Christmas cards in the morning; we were joined by Alysha in the afternoon for some soothing yoga and this time enhanced with the scent of lavender. Everyone enjoyed having this essential oil placed on their hands. We ended the afternoon with lots of Bingo! See you soon.
