There is always a way to make a difference. I do my best to "pay forward" as of friend of mine always says. So I have made these vases for Mother's Day, they are called, "Vases Of Love". They are not a part of my ongoing sale but they are for a worthy cause. The Dolly Parton Foundation (Canada). Many years ago, Dolly began to send out Books to kids in her State, now her program is in many countries including Canada. A child receives a book a month for the first 5 years of their life. It has been proven that children in the program, enter school with a greater understanding of the world, and a higher comprehension. How can we not want this for our kids? For only $350.00 for 5 years, I am surprised that the government is not jumping all over this and supporting every child in the country with this program. (There, that's my rant for the day). Please come out to the Pottery and support this worthwhile cause. And by the way, a portion of the sales of the Vases will also go to assist a young girl who has a learning disability get Counselling. It is with great sadness that we are announcing the closing of Cafe Troy permanently.

It has been a very tough time for many businesses and we are no different, the provincial closures that have been imposed on our business has taken its toll.

I would like to thank each of you for all the experiences shared, friendship made and the good times we had together at Cafe Troy.

I would like all of you to know that working for you in producing a quality restaurant was very rewarding for me and I truly appreciate all the support my staff have extended to me through these tough times.

Words are not enough to express my gratitude.

Thank you loyal customers for your kind patronage. It has been a great privilege and my honour to have served this community for the past 24 years.

Although we are closing the Cafe, our Pottery will continue and I look forward to serving you in the future.

For those of you who have supported the Cafe by purchasing Gift Certificates, you can use them in the Pottery or request a full refund by sending the original gift certificate to us.
