“Hi everyone, I’m Nikki, this year's SPEED mentorship committee lead. I love to see the new sessions come to life every year with new and creative themes! It’s so rewarding to foster connections with the cohort of kids we work with every year, and getting to listen in on the new trends and activities they are obsessed with. During school, my favourite subject was always French (shoutout to Linguee and bon patron)!”

“Hi everyone! My name is Danielle, and I’m a junior lead for the SPEED Mentorship committee! What I love most about my role is getting to learn and see how impactful mentorship can be, and I have really enjoyed getting to see youth get excited about learning and connecting with others. In school, my favourite subject is chemistry!”

Hi everyone, my name is Abiraa, and I’m co-president of CAPE. One of my favourite parts of being on CAPE is coordinating so many initiatives with local students in the Hamilton area. My favourite school subject is biology!

Applications for the CAPE McMaster committees are now OPEN! 🎉 Are you passionate about making a difference in your community? We have three fantastic committees that are currently accepting applications:

1. Workshop Committee🔧 - Help organize and lead engaging workshops for high school students.

2. Speed Committee ⏩ - Focus on mentorship with students in partnered Hamilton organizations.

3. Research & Advocacy Committee 📊 - Drive impactful research and advocacy initiatives.

We are also looking for a marketing director to help create promotional content and manage our social media. If you would like to contribute to a good cause and have an interest in marketing or social media this role is for you!
