So what is better
A baked cheese cake

Well
It’s time to start a new decade
I am now turning 60
I have no idea where the time went
But I am embracing it
I want to say thank you

So on Wednesdays
I always had a different tsh*t on
When my retired police officers came in for breakfast
And I just had to make a shout out to them all
And to thank them for all their support while I had the diner Terry Hill if you can show your group
I be appreciate it

2025 was a very tumultuous year
We lost a really good person Jan Gowman
Had a very kind heart, a quirky personality very smart and treated everyone the same. It’s been a year now and I still often think about her and just you know it’s all happy.
And then the CRA started doing all of their harassment on me for my taxes. It’s an ongoing thing. Why do they have to harass people who have nothing to hide and why there was such a big discrepancy in the amount of money that I owed them
I’m totally exhausted from the Cra harassing small business owners which costs us more money at the end of the day with our accountants and time that they use to prepare taxes for

I’m looking forward to 2026. Perhaps we will shed some light on a new space.
Over the years of owning the restaurant I had given myself as much as I could treated everyone well never asked for anything from anyone because we are strong and we could fix the problems when aroused
Because the CRA had drained my bank account for my new place
I will be asking for donations to help me to reopen a new place in Hamilton
Every cent counts
And I do hope that everyone is willing to chip in
Selling on special occasions is a great help but it is not enough to establish a new place inn2026

In just 5 weeks will be a milestone for me when I leave the 50s behind
But in the mean time I will post soon the new email address if you would like to donate to the new bistro
Thank all of you over the pass 5 years in keeping me going with all your likes and comments I am truly blessed to know each and everyone one of you
