We thank him for taking the time to join us and helping us recommit ourselves to effective health care for equity deserving and marginalized communities.

Mixing certain medications can cause unpleasant—or even serious—side effects. Always stay informed about everything you take, including prescriptions, over-the-counter meds, vitamins, and supplements.

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist:

Why am I taking this?
What are common side effects?
Should I take it with food?
What happens if I miss a dose?

📝 Stay organized
Keep a current list of all your medications—one at home and one with you.
📖 Follow directions
Read labels and instructions carefully every time you fill a prescription.
🔒 Store safely
Keep medicines out of reach of children and pets. Check expiry dates and ask your pharmacist how to safely dispose of unused medication.

Last week we hosted our second annual symposium. Our theme was Health Equity and Innovation.

The symposium showcased the terrific innovative work we have done to address equity deserving and marginalized needs here in Hamilton.

We heard from clients to hear their stories and the impact we've had on their lives.
We showcased a number of programs:
- Our Chiropody Clinic and its impact on housing insecure people
- A Walkthrough of our HART Hub here at 430 Cannon St.
- An overview of our new Obodo Maternal Health Program
- A look back at one year of our Refugee Transition Clinic

As well we launched our new Malité Centre of Excellence and Innovation Hub
