How long has it been? Been a long time!

2023 was pretty much spent preparing GH Kitchens and Baths for its ride off into the sunset. Thank you John Sr and John Jr for over a decade of bringing my imagination to reality. Best wishes for a retirement well deserved and a bright future respectively.

Moving forward, Big Idea will enjoy a bit of a return to my roots, looking for solutions for the every day, to make things a bit better in ways that are accessible to more homes. Think REAL organization tips, colour and decor, salvage and revitalization. I'll still be there for the big ideas and projects, but little ideas that can grow into something great too!

Not *quite* open to the public yet...I'm excited to be the first customer to step on the new floors of the renovated Sarana showroom!

And the first large project. I included an image featuring a large swath of floors, as many websites feature visualizers to see their actual material selections in a space.

The first wee little project on the new computer. Rendered in seconds. This was fun.

So I posted the renderings for these a while ago, but neglected to post the finished product. The home owners wanted to feel as though they were in a completely different world when they stepped in to their city bungalow. The buffet of textures and finishes was nourishment to my soul!

So happy to have had the opportunity to address some of the challenges this family faced in their home, creating a space that accommodates everyone. Thank you as always, GH Kitchens and Baths. Thank you Carrie and family, may you have many years of joy here.

A six foot long flat lay. 3 full baths and two kitchens. A single floor home built for two generations and their individual tastes, but a seamless flow.
