The Waterdown Legion Br. 551 invites the community to a special Red Friday Celebration. A free outdoor event to thank our Veterans, Military Members, and First Responders.

Wear red to show your support and appreciation for those who serve.
Coinciding with RED Friday, the museum will be open to visitors from 4 pm to 8 pm. Student docents from Waterdown District High School will present new exhibits and share powerful stories of remembrance, service, and hope.

Heidi Siwak, our keynote speaker, leads I-Thinkโs work in Artificial Intelligence and is the architect of I-Thinkโs Artificial Intelligence Challenge Kit for gr. 6-12 students.
A former K-8 educator for Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board with a M.Ed. In Education Leadership and Policy, her work includes several years at the Ontario Ministry of Education in the Curriculum and Assessment Policy Branch, supporting the integration of Transferable Skills into learning through the Technology and Learning Fund.

Echoes Through Time
Please join us this Thursday April the 30th at 7pm in Gym A when Rob and the Flosmans take the stage with โEchoes Through Timeโ โ An interactive journey through music history, featuring the namesake, Rob Flosman, himself. The band and Mr. Flosman are generously sharing their time and talents in this special event to fundraise the seed money for our new recording studio. Please join us for this unforgettable evening of sound and story.

The students in the foods class came up with the cookie recipes that our baker mentors are baking and presenting to you next week ๐ช Special thank you for Mrs. Kate Holden for coordinating this event with the classes in her department! ๐งก
Thank you also to WDHS for hosting this event. While the event is being held at the school, the event is open to everyone in the community ๐ค
It's FREE admission and you can enjoy the activity zone and browse the marketplace, and it's only a $5 donation to taste the cookies ๐๏ธ All proceeds support our youth programs at the high school ๐
