Keep up to date with everything that's taking place at New Hope Community Bikes. A Non-Profit Social Enterprise Bike Shop in East Hamilton.

We refurbish bikes for affordable transportation, offer bike repair, and teach everyone how to fix their own bikes through formal and informal instruction. We offer tools and stand space to work on your own bike and believe that bikes can help lead to healthier and more sustainable communities and environments, and that everyone should have access to affordable transportation. We’re looking for old towels and cotton clothing rags to support our cleaning efforts at New Hope. Towels and cotton materials work best because they are durable and absorbent. Thank you for your support!

Check out this Gage Park Pump Track review with our mechanic, Mike! ⬇

The track is riding well right now and it’s the perfect excuse to get outside, get moving, and enjoy your bike. Whether you’re working on your skills or just out cruising with friends, spots like this are what riding season is all about.

It’s also the long weekend! We’ll be closed until Tuesday so our team can enjoy some well deserved time off 🚴

If your bike needs some love before you head out riding, bring it by the shop next week and we’ll get you rolling smooth again.

See you out there 👊

A big thank you to The Miller Group for their continued support of Ride Smart! 🚲

With their generous support, we’ve been able to purchase a new trailer — bringing our fleet to six trailers across Ontario. This means we can reach more communities, teach more kids how to ride bikes, and expand access to safe cycling education across the province.

We’re grateful for partners like The Miller Group who help make it possible to get more kids riding safely and confidently.
