At Friends 4 Kindness, our annual Unbirthday Party is more than a community event - it’s a day dedicated to those who don’t often receive invitations… who struggle to belong… who sometimes feel unseen.

And our community shows up.

Families travel from Brantford, Brant County and across the province to attend. We welcome thousands of participants for a day filled with joy, connection, celebration, and inclusive activities - all at NO COST to families.

This year, we’re inviting local businesses to partner with us through our Power of Belonging Campaign.

Your business will sponsor one activity station at our Unbirthday Party.

As a Power of Belonging Sponsor , you will receive:
• Your company logo displayed on a thank-you poster at one event station
• A thank-you mention with your logo included in our loot bags (received by every participant)

Your sponsorship doesn’t just fund a station- it creates a moment where someone feels included, celebrated, and valued.

Hurray! Today is Julafton in Sweden!🇸🇪

Today is Christmas Eve (Julafton) in Sweden, and the whole country is in a festive mood!🇸🇪 Families decorate their homes, gather around the Christmas tree, and at 3 PM sharp, everyone watches “Kalle Anka” (Donald Duck) on TV – a beloved tradition enjoyed by both kids and adults every year!

And of course, there’s delicious Christmas food – Swedish ham, meatballs, sausages, sweets, and desserts . Homes are filled with laughter, music, and the warm holiday spirit.

Take a break from holiday stress and ground yourself in the present by searching for:

- Something to wear outside
- Envelopes with hearts
- 3 Christmas ghosts
- An item you don’t see often
- 2 boots without mates
- A wintry puzzle piece
- Something you’d light
- An item in your favorite color
- 2 bells with pink bows
- Something for New Year’s Eve
- An item you have at home
- Something to keep you warm
- References to the movie Elf
- 3 cups with hearts on them
- A matching pair of slippers
- Something sweet to eat
- 2 snowy mountain ranges

By looking for any of these, you’re using your sense of sight to connect with the present moment.
