My last two foster babies left last weekend! 🥲 Mia (Mama) and her baby, Benny had been with us since Benny and his siblings were only 5 days old! It was such an incredible journey watching them grow, and it is so rewarding to see them all now flourishing in their new homes. 💕🐱

And then there were three… last week I had SIX fosters, and over the course of the week three of them left to their forever homes. It’s always bittersweet when fosters leave, but fostering brings me so much joy I would do it over and over again. 💕

✨Happy Halloween!✨ Halloween is my favourite holiday, but it can be an especially scary time for our four legged friends! 🍫We all know chocolate can be toxic for our pets, but xylitol, an artificial sweetener found in many treats can also be deadly. If you suspect your pet has ingested candy or chocolate, contact your vet immediately. 👻Costumes ON your pet should not impair their vision, hearing or movement. For obvious reasons, this can be dangerous! 🍬Trick or treating is fun for us humans, but can cause some major anxiety for our four legged friends. A constant wave of strangers, in costumes no less, coming to the door can be very stressful. ✨Happy Halloween!✨ Austin, although less than impressed to be put in a costume, was a good sport for his Halloween photo! Do you dress your pets up for Halloween? If so- keep some of these safety tips in mind! 🎃🐱💕🐶

-Masks should only be worn for photos as they can impair you pets sight, smell and breathing
-Ensure your pet can move freely and their mobility is not impacted by the costume
-Monitor your pet if their costume has anything “chewable” to avoid choking or potential intestinal blockage. This also applies to any Halloween decor your pet may have access to!

•PERSONAL POST• Today was the day we had planned to say goodbye to our guardian, our puppy princess, our Dany. 🖤 Unfortunately, we ended up having to part ways sooner than planned.. but today, I can feel her presence more than ever.

Dany- you are missed beyond words. You were more than our family dog, you truly were our guardian, our protector, our warrior. You fought for so long and so hard and I know you would have kept fighting, just to stay with us, if you could have. Today, I find comfort knowing that you are at peace, you are no longer suffering, you are free, but you are still with us. Our hearts are broken and our home is so quiet without you. Austin is doing his best to fill your roll, but we all know that you are irreplaceable. We miss you so much, sweet girl. Rest easy knowing that we will see you again one day, when we cross that Rainbow Bridge together. Love you forever. xo

ELSA! ❄️✨💕 Been spending my lunch breaks with this little munchkin, and it’s been so healing after losing our Dany girl a few weeks ago. So thankful for my clients, their wonderful pets, and the very special relationships I’ve formed working with them.
