First off, thank you to everyone who picked up first print copies despite the damage issues. We know some of those spine creases and dings were rough, and thankfully DC Comics stepped up in a big way by providing retailers replacement second printings to help make things right. When a book is popular and the issue is widespread enough, it’s nice to see publishers have retailers and customers backs.

SO HERE’S THE DEAL:

If owning an Absolute Batman with a spine crease kept you up at night… this one’s for you.

From June 3rd to June 10th, these second printings will ONLY be available to customers who previously bought damaged first print copies from us and still weren’t satisfied with the condition.

• Bought your first print at $2.99? Bring it in and we’ll discount that amount (plus tax) off the second printing.
• Bought your first print at full cover price? Bring it back and we’ll swap it right out, you’ve already paid.

We’re extending the same offer to ABSOLUTE MARTIAN MANHUNTER as well. We didn’t see nearly as many damages on those first prints, but if you weren’t happy with your copy, we’ve got you covered too.

After June 10th, whatever remains hits the shelf for general sale.
