Alright let us bring forth… the thoroughly explained wall o’ text! Capcom went a bit wild with the 25th anniversary of Street Fighter and gave us this pretty incredible PS3 Collector’s set for any diehard fan to add to their display shelves.

This collection has the following:
-Street Fighter X Tekken and Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition games in a dual pack case
-Two disc Blu-Ray set including the “I am Street Fighter” documentary, Street Fighter II the Animated Movie, Street Fighter IV the Ties that Bind, Super Street Fighter IV Original Video Animation and Street Fighter the Animated Series
-8 inch light-up Ryu statue
-64 Page Tribute hardcover art book
-Embroidered full-size replica Ryu Belt
-11 Disc Soundtrack set for: Street Fighter, II Turbo, III: Third Strike, Super IV Arcade Edition, Street Fighter X Tekken and Fan Created Remixes and Originals,
-Individual numbered letter of authenticity

Sadly back during the 7th gen Capcom (and a bunch of others) were really in love with one time use voucher codes back during this time, and this set has quite a few of them. So all the extra stuff like Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, the SFxT Costume packs and PSOne Classic Alpha games we cannot guarantee that you’d be able to redeem any of the codes for them.

But even with all the digital stuff, there’s still an incredible collection of physical media here and it’s really a beautiful display piece. Only other thing of note is there is some wear and tear on the back of the back of the box with a bit of the faux-velvet (we’re assuming it’s faux) peeled and missing.

Daaaaamn! When the SNES RPG selection is so good you can’t just do a trio pic, you’ve gotta get them all in on the group photo :D

Of course we’ve got Squaresoft bringing the iconics with Final Fantasy III, Secret of Mana and Mario RPG, but we’ve even got Enix before those two got together with The 7th Saga. Breath of Fire might’ve been published by Squaresoft over here in North America but it’s actually developed by the good folks at Capcom, and even the company Taito known for more arcadey-style games got in on the rpg action with Lufia & the Fortress of Doom.

Free yourself from the trouble of wires and cables with the PS2 Logitech Wireless controller! While the 6th Gen’s wireless controller options were either rough Mad Catz or Hip Gear offerings, or the premium Nintendo Wavebird experience… Logitech was in that good mid-range of quality where it might not have the same shell design and feel, but you do get the perks like vibration and pressure sensitive buttons.

While we did test these on a PS2, we cannot guarantee functionality and compatibility with any submarines or other deep seafaring vehicles :D

For those that have always wanted more from the Ghosts ‘n Goblins universe, might we suggest the duo of Maximo games for the PS2??

While we don’t think it has the same level of iconic difficulty as the original Ghosts n Goblins games, you’re definitely gonna feel the challenge from these Capcom titles. Combined with the unique art and character designs from long time manga artist Susumu Matsuhita (Motortoon Grand Prix and Adventure Island artist), and Capcom studio head David Siller (concept designer for Crash Bandicoot), you can definitely feel the quality and effort that was put into this duo of games.

With the rise in Souls-like games and other infamously difficult titles, think there’s a place in modern gaming for Ghosts ‘n Goblins to make a return?

We apologize to anyone actually looking to own these to play them, but you’re gonna have to sacrifice some factory sealed wrap if you want to do so ;D

We’ve got a trio of stunning factory sealed/new Deluxe and Limited edition PSP games hitting the cabinet. We can’t dip too deep into the lore or story of the Ys series since it spans over 14 games, but if you’re looking for fast hack and slash RPG action both Oath in Felghana and Seven will provide… also Felghana is a full blown remake of the SNES Ys III Wanders from Ys so if you have any nostalgic history with that game you can encounter it all over again.

Speaking of far spanning series, we also have Fate/Extra, which is the start of at least the “Extra” part of the series. It is a pretty expansive dungeon crawler, arena battler, visual novel? There appears to be a lot below the surface here. The good thing is if you really like this one you’ve got a lot more games and reading material by following this up with Extra CCC, Extra CCC Foxtail, Extra Last Encore, Extella and Extella Link… apparently, that’s just the order some reddit fans seem to suggest.

More Switch stuff joining the party!

Let’s get the spotlight game out of the way when Indie darling and trusted classic series come together, it’s Cadence of Hyrule Crypt of the Necrodancer featuring the Legend of Zelda… like a Tribe called Quest you say the whole thing. If you’re looking for a dungeon crawler, rhythm game with rogue-like elements then this just might be the game for you with hopping around the map battling enemies to the rhythm of classic Zelda tracks. Much like Hyrule Warriors though we must warn, this is not at all like a traditional Zelda title, definitely check out some gameplay cause it’s a pretty crazy experience.

Next let’s bring on the Switch 2 stuff!

Hitman World of Assassination is jam packed with contract killing goodness, with Hitman 1, 2 and III all included. With just how wildly varied the missions and the wide range of
methods you can employ to take out your target you’ll get a ton of replay value out of this trio.

Next we’ve got Street Fighter 6, let’s get the important detail out of the way, “Years 1-2 Fighters Edition” is a one time use download code for the character pass, which doesn’t come with this copy so it is just the base game. That said, Street Fighter 6 is an iiiincredible entry in the Street Fighter series and is a must play for old fans and newcomers alike. It’s got the fun and expansive World Tour mode where you take your custom character around the world learning moves and challenging some of the icons of the series. A great mix of arcade, VS and training modes, and if you bring it online both Ranked play and the online lobby where you can play casual matches or even challenge other players’ custom characters in the middle of the lobby room.

Do keep in mind that both Hitman and Street Fighter are Game Key Cards and must be downloaded and installed in order to play. Hitman is a 61gb install and SF6 is 50gb.

EDIT: Well that was quick, FNAF Core Collection has Sold.

Sadly we don’t know enough about Five Nights to make a topical quip, but if you like those killer animatronics and getting jump scared then boy do we got a post for you!

We’ve got a duo of FNAF titles available for the Switch. We’ve got the impressive Core Collection which includes the first four Five Nights games as well as Sister Location.

Help Wanted is actually a traditional controller-style adaption of the PC/PS4 VR game. It’s jampacked with 26 mini games based around the first four games and Sister Location, and if you’re good at ‘em you can even unlock 14 Blacklight/hard mode versions to really ramp up the animatronic terror :D

Poor ROB… dude went from holding GBA’s and other handhelds to lugging music equipment like a roadie.

Level up your Wii Rock Band 3 experience with the Rock Band Keyboard! This keyboard allows you to play both the standard Rock Band style difficulty/mode or you can show off your skills with the Pro Mode which has you actually playing the real notes along with the song… as musically inclined as we try to be, it was a humiliating effort on our part ;D

Even cooler if you have a bit of computer knowhow or mess with music production, this does have a 5-Pin Midi port allowing you to connect it either to synth hardware or plug it into a PC and use it with any music production software. Of course we must say any setup and tinkering with software/synth stuff is up to you to figure out.

Feel free to stop by the shop to check out this and any other wares we’ve got as the Anime North sale is still going on… and possibly beyond the confines of the weekend :D
