Yesterday, this driver was observed by our Traffic Safety Unit failing to stop for a stop sign on Trinity Church Road.

The driver then proceeded to travel 115km per hour in a 60km per hour zone. Officers stopped the vehicle and charged the 27-year-old driver with Stunt Driving and Fail to Stop for Stop Sign.

Hamilton Police Service has extended the application deadline for the Chief’s 2SLGBTQIA Advisory Committee to September 18.

We’re looking for passionate community members who bring diverse perspectives, lived experiences and a commitment to building a safer, more inclusive Hamilton.

The committee provides advice directly to the Chief of Police on issues affecting 2SLGBTQIA communities, helping strengthen relationships, improve services and support equitable policing.
