My Story
Started in my imagination in childhood; in the real world in 2008
Painting, illustration and mixed media art
Katkaland is my creative playground. My work is not only influenced by my years working as a costume and set designer for theater and film, but also by my Czech heritage – my desire to preserve the ‘old’ through the creation of new things. With all these ideas my own small business operated solely by me from my home-based studio in Montreal, Quebec was the logical step.
