It was an honour and a privilege to serve the residents of Hamilton East – Stoney Creek as Member of Parliament over the past term.
Thank you to my family and my office family for all of your unwavering support, to the incredible group of volunteers who worked so hard on this campaign, and to all of the residents who have messaged with me with your well wishes.
The results were not what we were hoping for, but I look forward to connecting with many of you in the near future.

I voted!
This trip to the polls was even more special because both of my kids are now of voting age.
You can vote until 9:30 pm.

We will never be the 51st State. Vote today like your country depends on it, because it does.

On this National Day of Mourning on April 28, we remember and honour those lives lost or injured due to a workplace tragedy.
It’s also a day for workplaces to make a renewed commitment to improving health and safety.

Tomorrow is Election Day.
This election is about the kind of future you want for Hamilton East - Stoney Creek and for Canada.
The stakes could not be higher and I’m proud to be running with Mark Carney.

It’s Autism Acceptance Month!
Congratulations to Tina Fougere, founder of Canadian National Autism Foundation (CNAF) on the incredible achievement of 25 years of advocacy and education.
You can show your support by purchasing tulips from Downtown Stoney Creek for $10 and by donating a toonie at The Village Restaurant to put your name on a puzzle heart.
Family Fun Day in the Creek continues Saturday, April 26 until 5 pm featuring live music, a children’s games area, artisans, great food, and more.

I appreciated the visit today from Hamilton Police Association president Jaimi Bannon.
I come from a family of police officers and I support the important work the police do to keep us safe.
A re-elected Liberal government will toughen the Criminal Code to make bail laws stricter for violent and organized crime.

President Trump wants to make Canada his 51st state. Let’s be clear: Canada is a sovereign country, proud and free.
