We’re pleased to announce that we are now accepting submissions for our magazine under the theme: Stewards of Creation 🌱

This theme explores our Islamic role as caretakers of the Earth, entrusted by Allah to preserve the balance of His creation. Caring for the land, water, animals, and each other is not just responsibility, but worship and gratitude. The Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ shows us how to live with mercy and moderation—being kind to animals, conserving resources, and avoiding waste and overconsumption. Even small sincere acts, like giving water to a thirsty animal, are beloved to Allah and carry great reward. In a world facing pollution and global warming, this amanah (trust) calls us to reflect: are we living as true stewards, serving both the Ummah and the planet with compassion and responsibility?

We’re so excited to read your pieces, and hope this theme re-inspires your love for worship.

Bring your current project or start something brand new! we’ve got the materials, you bring the creativity. Paint, draw, collage, experiment — it’s all about making art in good company. Brothers will also have the option to follow a guided art session 👨‍🎨

🌿Join us for a soul-refreshing hike through the Cootes’ Paradise Trail! Surrounded by the beauty of fall, this event is a chance to appreciate the creations of Allah ﷻ, build community, and take care of your mental and spiritual health through thoughtful reflection and creative expression.

🧠 For Brothers
This hike will focus on the topic of mental health and Islam, exploring how our deen supports emotional resilience and well-being.
📸 Plus! Capture the beauty around you during the hike and enter our Photography Contest for a chance to win an exciting prize!

🎨 For Sisters
This hike will include a peaceful watercolour painting session. Surrounded by nature, you'll have the chance to unwind and express yourself creatively through art and reflection.
