Join us in stewarding Bruleville Nature Park this Mother's Day weekend! The Hamilton Naturalistsโ€™ Club is hosting a community garbage clean-up to help restore and protect this important urban green space. Volunteers will work together to remove litter, improve habitat quality, and actively steward the park for wildlife and people alike.

All tools and supplies will be provided. Please dress for outdoor conditionsโ€”sturdy footwear and gloves are recommended.

Gardening for Wildlife Workshop ๐ŸŒฟ

Kevin Kavanagh and Dylan Cowan from South Coast Gardens will teach you how to design a space that truly supports birds, pollinators, and more - using native plants, layering for food and shelter, and creating habitat features that provide nectar, seeds, and nesting areas throughout the seasons.

Get one-on-one guidance - bring your plans, photos, or questions and leave with clear, practical next steps for your space. Native plants will also be available for purchase so you can start right away.

Discover Low Impact Development (LID) features and the many benefits they provide, from reducing flooding and erosion to improving water quality and supporting urban biodiversity.

The Rain Ready Hamilton Rebate Program, administered by Green Venture and funded by the City of Hamilton, offers eligible Hamilton residents up to $5,000 to implement rain-ready features on their property.
