Tigers Eye has a powerful energy that combines the grounding qualities of the Earth with the uplifting vitality of the sun, allowing us to feel grounded in a high vibrational state. Good morning!

I wrapped this beautiful Charoite stone last night. It has the sweetest little heart built right in. Can you see it or am I going crazy? Lol! That’s one of the things I love about Charoite. It’s not only a gorgeous colour, but it always seems to have some little image hiding in it’s swirls. This piece is wrapped in sterling silver in what seems to have become my favourite wrap lately. I really just love letting the stone shine all on it’s own. I hope you all are still loving it too!

CHAROITE

This mala is a remake of one that I made a couple of years ago. It features beautiful ebony wood beads, and a gorgeous bone carved Buddha guru bead. These beads are so light and feel really lovely in your hands. Working with wood beads allows you to really ground your energy, connect with nature, and destress. Ebony wood particularly symbolizes strength, protection, and power, and can be used to shield from negative energies. The Buddha guru bead further represents inner peace, mindfulness, and tranquility.

Rare Bead Alert! How stunning are the colours in these beads?! It’s been a while since I’ve seen beads I absolutely couldn’t resist purchasing, and these ones got me the second I laid eyes on them. They’re called ‘Atlantic Blue Jade’, inspired by their colouring, but they actually feature other elements such as Richterite and Silica. They have such a beautiful, calming vibe, and are even prettier in person. Today marks 5 years since I introduced Mindfully Magic to the world. I can’t believe how fast it’s gone! Starting this little business came at a time when I had just left a job I’d had for almost 21 years, and was in the midst of getting my Mom through her cancer treatments. Needless to say I felt very lost and overwhelmed. Finding a creative outlet again after years of suppressing that side of myself was, and remains, such a gift. I started off making greeting cards, and then stumbled into making hand knotted malas, which really clicked with me and felt like coming home in a lot of ways. And once you have beads in your house and a creative itch, it’s easy to fall way down the rabbit hole. Lol! Fast forward 5 years, and I’ve found so many things that I love to make and even more mediums that I love to work with. But the best part of this journey has been the people that I’ve met along the way. I have been welcomed, supported, encouraged, upheld, and shown unending kindness by so many lovely souls in the last five years that it’s overwhelming. And I’m truly grateful for all of you.

Here’s to the next 5 years of Mindfully Magic! I can’t wait to see what unfolds!

Working on some teeny evil eye pendants today, and realized I never posted these two super flashy blue labradorite evil eye pendants. Both are wrapped in silver plated copper, and are available if anyone wants to adopt them! 💙 Swipe through to take a closer look!

Finished this beautiful, beachy mala yesterday, and I’m in love! These beads are so tranquil and calming, and feel so lovely in your hands. I started off with white petrified wood beads to represent sand and driftwood washed up on the shore. Next comes white mother of pearl to represent water splashing up along the shoreline. Aragonite beads are the perfect mix of blues and whites and taupes to represent shallow water with a sandy bottom, and then there are three types of amazonite beads as the water deepens. I finished the piece of with a gorgeous, teal blue raw quartz guru bead (dyed of course), and sandy beige tassel. I can practically hear the waves breaking along the shoreline. I was going through my posts from the last couple of years, and I can’t believe how long it’s been since I’ve posted about my malas! I have some beautiful pieces that need to be reintroduced to you all. And I’ll definitely be making some new ones as well. I’ve officially caught the bug again!

Wrapped another insanely flashy Rainbow Moonstone last night. There is no angle where this stone doesn’t show off. It’s just full of beautiful colours, a couple of tiny rainbows, and lots of black tourmaline. The wire I used is sterling silver, and it’s been polished to a nice shine.
