Did you know? ππ
Hydrochloric acid, with a pH of 2 to 3, is secreted into your stomach to help with the digestion of food. Our bodies also secrete an alkali bicarbonate solution, in order to protect against this highly corrosive acid. The lining still needs to be replaced continually, and it entirely renews itself every four days.
