Every spring, people flock to Sullivan’s Pond for the return of Dartmouth’s geese and their fuzzy goslings. You’ll find them nesting and nuzzling, splashing in the pond, and parading about the park. They have no qualms about halting traffic, waddling across the street on their own schedule, often by way of the crosswalk. 🌳⛲🪿
Grab a coffee from .goodluck or a sandwich from .dartmouth and stroll over to Sullivan’s Pond for a dreamy picnic among the spring blossoms. Settle in and watch the geese keep guard while their goslings take their first wobbly tours of the world.🥤🥪🌸

➡️ Note: These geese roam free, but they’re still animals that need their space. Keep well back and give lots of room for them to roam, keep dogs leashed, and please don’t feed them, as human food does more harm than good. Admire from a distance, but let them be.
