La Flor de la Marinera in Halifax!
Lericia Sánchez is a multidisciplinary dancer, instructor, and cultural promoter celebrating Colombian–Peruvian–Canadian heritage. Dancing since childhood, she has specialized in Marinera Norteña since 2019.
Founder of Brisas del Norte Cultural Association (Montreal) and creator of Marinera y Tradición, she teaches not just dance, but Peru’s culture, history, and identity.
Leticia also works with youth, adults, and families, sharing the beauty and meaning behind Peruvian dance.
An award-winning performer, she’s earned titles across Canada & the U.S., and in 2026 became a Top 5 finalist at the Marinera Norteña World Championship in Peru.
Known as “La Flor de la Marinera,” she continues to inspire through passion, culture, and excellence ✨
