Congratulations to Dr. Mel Schriver, who has been inducted into the Science Atlantic Hall of Fame!

Dr. Mel has attended ChemCon almost every year since 1982, when he first discovered the conference as an undergraduate student. He was hired as a faculty member at Crandall University in 1996 and, knowing the impact that ChemCon had on himself and others, advocated for Crandall to join Science Atlantic. He served as the university’s chemistry representative until his retirement this year.

Dr. Mel has witnessed dozens of young chemists become contributing members of the Atlantic scientific community. Visit our website to find out how his philosophy of love has guided him through his career.
