🐾 We knew our Dartmouth bathroom renovation was a success when it got the official seal of approval from the four-legged inspectors!
This project started as a dark, dated bathroom with awkward angled ceilings and a suffocating, closet-like shower. The homeowners were tired of the tight space and ready for a major change.
The Structural Solution: We maximized every square inch by borrowing space from the adjacent bedroom closet, removing a heavy bulkhead, and tearing down the wall separating the shower from the sink. This instantly unlocked both height and width!
The Design & Finishes:
- The Vibe: An airy, open walk-in shower with a stunning, rounded clear-arch glass panel.
- The Palette: Polished navy subway tiles wrapped across the main wall to create an optical illusion that makes the room look longer.
- The Details: Vintage gold plumbing fixtures, a light mosaic rock shower floor for natural texture, and a classic wall-mounted cast iron sink to honor the home’s character.
- Smart Storage: Custom recessed niches and warm wood floating shelves for daily essentials and towels.
