Chebucto Community Net

As some of you know, our office was quite backed up as we transferred our equipment to a new location. The office is now ready to take calls, and our voicemail is no longer full.

Please note, that since we are working through a backlog of calls, we will not be able to respond to any messages that were left before the month of July. If you have outstanding issues since that time, please contact our office again.

There is some planned service maintenance happening between 5:00am and 10:00am on August 3rd 2025, which could cause some intermittent disruptions during that time. If you have any further questions, please feel free to email us at [email protected]

We're testing out some new equipment on July 6th, so you may experience some service disruptions on Sunday. We will do our best to keep any disruptions as short as possible.

We're having some delays with out confirmations of donations up through the end of February 2025. Please be patient, and we will have our notices out soon!

A quick reminder that our AGM is tomorrow from 5:30-8:45pm, at the Central Library in the Lindsey Children's room. We hope to see you there!

Service Disruption!

An HHD failure in an essential server has temporarily forced us offline. Work has already started to bring our services back online as soon as possible.

Remember, our Annual General Meeting is coming up soon! For those of you who want to join us in person, we will be having the meeting in the Lindsey Children's room on the second floor of the library. For those who want to join online, the zoom link for the AGM should have already been sent to your Chebucto email address.

We are pained to hear of the passing of Alan Turner. Alan was a past treasurer and chair of the Chebucto Community Net board. Though he left Halifax back in 2020, we are still keenly aware of his absence.
