Built a 3D printed toy model of the DRZ build

Getting pretty close! Couple small details and paint. Spring time test rides for this build. My Shorai battery gave up waiting for this build to finish and died. Cant hold a charge now. need a replacement but they seem to be out of stock.

Hopefully I can find time this weekend to see if this engine rebuild was a success.

Getting closer! Lots of little finishing details left. But its will be rideable soon! Tank out for sealing this week. Tail piece hopefully back soon. Seat ready for upholstery. Need a sponsor for brakes ?

Coming up on 6 years since we built this one. One of our wildest transformations. This 1986 gs 1150 went from the past to the future!

Finally have a design figured out for the gas tank cap and mounting cover. Trying to keep visible hardware to a minimum. Time to start making the pieces and get this part finished with.

Temperature is dropping fast. Another year not finishing this build. Getting closer but always adding more details. Needs
Tank repair, body panel mounting brackets, gas cap cover, carbon fibre wrap headlight fairing, seat pan modification, foam shaping, seat upholstery, mold and lay carbon for fork guards and fender, finish taillight, paint and done…….oh boy. Long winter ahead.

We are really excited to get back to working on this project. More to come
