Robin Ogilvie, was named Nova Scotia’s top pharmacist of 2018 by the Pharmacy Association of Nova Scotia (PANS).
Robin knows many people still think of pharmacists as someone simply “dispensing pills.” but he is doing so much more with patients at Rockingham Guardian in Clayton Park, including pilot projects, mental-health initiatives and ensuring people have a “helpful shoulder” to lean on.
Nova Scotia’s top pharmacist says the role is becoming key to solving the province’s health-care troubles | The Star Halifax pharmacist Robin Ogilvie was named the top in his field for 2018. He hopes to see more opportunities for pharmacists to treat patients and ease the burden on clinics and doctors.

We had a fantastic visit from MLA Rafah DiCostanzo at Rockingham Guardian Pharmacy! Today was Take Your MLA to Work Day! Pharmacists Robin Ogilvie and Jennifer Ramsay took Rafah on a tour and shared what a typical day looks like in a pharmacy, but she knows a lot about that because her daughter recently graduated from pharmacy school!
