• One of the best parts is reaching the Oceanview lookout, where you’re rewarded with breathtaking views of the beach, dunes, red cliffs, and the Gulf of St. Lawrence from above.
• The trail is well-maintained, beginner-friendly, and suitable for families.

Exploring the ever-changing beauty of 📍Thunder Cove Beach! 🌊🌅 Even though the landscape looks a bit different now, this PEI gem is still an absolute must-visit.

Here is what makes it so special:

• The Changing Coastline: Thunder Cove is a powerful reminder of nature’s strength. Its iconic “Teacup Rock” was famously washed away by Hurricane Fiona in 2022.

• Red Sand & Cliffs: It features striking, deep red sandstone cliffs, hidden caves, and shifting sands that look different with every season.

• Low Tide Exploring: You still want to time your visit exactly at low tide to safely walk the expansive red shoreline and explore the remaining sea caves.
