Just a friendly reminder to try to make sure your house # is clear of snow. In an emergency we might pass your house and take longer to get to you if we can’t see the civic address. We may also use your number to help find your neighbours if theirs is obstructed.

Last night your volunteer firefighters went around parts of Fall River and shoveled some of the snow that would stop us from getting to a hydrant. Seconds matter and showing up to a house fire with a snow covered hydrant can make the difference of saving a house or losing it to a fire. Removing the snow around hydrants close to you can assist us getting them cleared faster.
