One thing I’ve been really inspired by recently is double exposure photography. Watching the incredibly talented Adrienne Comeau Photography demonstrate the process and creative possibilities behind it sparked something in me. Since then, I’ve been experimenting with different styles and approaches, trying to develop my own take on it.

Still learning, still exploring, and definitely not claiming perfection, but that’s part of the fun. Every shoot teaches me something new, and I can’t wait to bring more of these ideas into my upcoming summer sessions.

Black & White, but never Basic📸

Years of friendship led to this moment.
My boy Ikjot came to me wanting to try something he’d never done before: A model-style shoot. Honestly, I’ve always admired the way he carries himself… the confidence, the presence, and yeah, the looks too. He’s always had it in him.

We finally made it happen, and seeing these shots come to life was something else. I genuinely love how they turned out. More than just photos, this shoot gave both of us something-CONFIDENCE. Confidence in my vision behind the lens, and confidence in him to see the potential he has.

This is just the beginning. Big things ahead. 🖤📸

Freezing time is a privilege. Documenting SEKHON X debut event in Halifax, NS was nothing short of electric, and I’m immensely proud of the narrative these frames hold. Immense respect to the amazing individuals I crossed paths with, that night. Here are a few fragments of a night well-spent.

A love that feels timeless, captured just as simply -

A little backstory:
That Tree photo was the bride’s grandma’s idea — a pose by the tree she truly wanted. I went along out of respect, and it turned into something incredibly sweet. Always listen to your clients.

In the middle of an event, I always make space to look for candid moments. They shine differently.

There is something about a natural smile that can never be recreated through posing. It carries honesty, anticipation, and emotion - the kind that simply feels different.

Think about the moment you first looked at someone you love. That quiet, unplanned smile that appears without effort — that’s the one. That is the expression worth preserving.

For fellow photographers: you don’t need many candid frames to tell the story well. Keep them intentional and limited, so their beauty remains untouched. At the same time, don’t rely on candids alone. A thoughtful blend of posed portraits and candid moments creates a balanced, timeless gallery — one that feels both guided and real.

📸 2AM Impulse • First Attempt at the Milky Way 🌌
Woke up randomly at 2AM and couldn’t fall back asleep… so I grabbed my camera, drove into the night, and ended up finding a quiet spot away from the city lights. First time ever trying to shoot the Milky Way — imperfect but magical.
