As spring draws to a close and we welcome the summer solstice, we're also entering the busiest time of year for Ground Search and Rescue calls across Canada. 🇨🇦

Before heading outdoors, remember the 3Ts and BE AdventureSmart:
✅ Trip Planning
✅ Training
✅ Taking the Essentials

If an emergency occurs, your first call is always 911.☎️ And remember: there is no charge for Ground Search and Rescue services in Canada. If you need help, don't delay calling for assistance.

☀️ As we move into the summer season, please also remain alert to wildfire hazards. Follow Provincial and Territorial advisories, respect roadblocks and closures, comply promptly with evacuation orders, and observe local fire bans. Avoid hazardous areas and follow the direction of police, fire, and emergency management officials.

A little preparation goes a long way toward ensuring a safe and enjoyable outdoor adventure.
