Cool show coming up in March!

The Dusty Halos & Civilians will Live at Saturday March 7!
Doors open at 7:30 show starts at 8pm
$15. Grab your tickets on-line (link in bio) or in store now!

"The Dusty Halos combine the textures of fingerstyle guitar, upright bass, and sweet and crunchy vocals to create warmly-sung songs of melancholia. In their songwriting and haunting harmonies, the folk duo explores the interplay of light and darkness, finding solace in the shadows."

Civilians will be playing selections off their recent album as well as some brand new stuff, so, less rambunctious than the last batch of shows. More folk, less rock, but still some rock. "What I call 'high risk, high reward' music (an old pro-wrestling saying)"

This summer we shot a pair of beautiful live videos with videographer (and folk musician) Luke Fraser. I love the contrast of this version of "With You," which is sparse and immediate and has the interesting imperfections of a live performance, with the album version, which is lush and layered and sonically vast. Thank you to Andrew McKelvie for letting us use his music classroom!
