Were you waiting for PDR funding to reopen? 👀

Good news: we’ve partially replenished the PDR fund for the summer semester.

If your claim from the 2025/2026 academic year was denied because funding ran out, you may now be able to submit or resubmit it.

The fund will fully reset in September for the 2026/2027 academic year, and we’ll be bargaining for an increase this fall.

Attention Unit 2 Members ✨

The 2025–2026 Professional Development Reimbursement (PDR) fund has been fully allocated for this academic year. The fund will reopen in September for the 2026–2027 cycle.

If this is your first time hearing about the PDR fund, don’t worry — we’ve got you covered. These funds are available to help support your professional growth and development as a sessional lecturer, including eligible professional expenses throughout the academic year.

🌈🌈 Happy Pride from CUPE 3913! 🌈🌈

🌳 This year, we're co-hosting the GDLC table at the Pride in the Park event. We'll be there on June 14 from 10 AM - 4 PM - stop by and say hi!

☕ We are also hosting a social event at the Cornerstone where members can meet the Q***r Caucus Chair, Kat, and get a free non-alcoholic drink on CUPE 3913. This event will take place on June 14 from 1-3 PM. Please feel free to drop by if you could use a refreshment before or after attending Pride in the Park!

The Professional Development Fund (PDR) has been depleted for the 2024-2025 academic year. The fund will be replenished in September 2025.

If you would have accessed this fund in the remainder of the Summer 2025 semester, please let us know - your feedback helps us understand the need for PDR funding and supports us advocating for better PDR supports during collective bargaining.
