We had the most fun at our company off-site staff meeting earlier this week! 🤩🤩

Once a year, we meet outside of the office to recap the previous year and look at what’s ahead. We also use this time to celebrate staff milestones. Congratulations to Crystal on 5️⃣ years, and to Kristi and Melissa on 🔟 years! 👏🏻

After the meeting, we spent the afternoon playing lawn games, sitting around the fire pit and enjoying each other’s company - a treat since we’re not often all together in person. ☺️

Thanks to Cox Creek Cellars for the beautiful space and lunch and Mr.Puffs Experiences and Confetti Counter - Gluten Free Bake Shop for dessert. It was a day well spent! 💚💙

Changes are coming to Ontario condos.

➡️ December 31, 2026 - changes to requisitioned meeting requirements and clarity surrounding owner occupied units (to be called “non leased voting units.

➡️ July 1, 2027 - expansion of the CAT (Condominium Authority Tribunal) to include disputes related to owner’s meetings, and increase to maximum cost awards.

As Pride Month comes to a close, we would like to recognize Out on the Shelf (OOTS) - a local organization committed to supporting the 2SLGBTQIA+ community in Guelph and Wellington County. 👋🏻

Out on the Shelf has roots going back to 1997 and originally centred around books! It is now a resource centre with many active members and volunteers, providing educational outreach and hosting reading clubs and other events. 📖

Our favourite day of the year…volunteering at Green Legacy!

🌲 started off in 2004 as a way to celebrate the Wellington County 150-year anniversary. The tree planting program is now the largest municipal tree planting program in North America! 3.3 million trees have been distributed around Wellington County to date.

🌲 offers amazing programming to school age kids, as well as group volunteer opportunities at their Puslinch nursery. This year, our 4th year volunteering, our group transplanted 2385 white spruce seedlings (after a bbq lunch) and had a great afternoon.

The Condominum Experts - Grand River Area Annual Golf Tournament was held on June 11th, and as usual, it was a great day! ⛳️🏌️‍♀️

Five Rivers was well represented on the course and had so much fun connecting with other industry professionals, participants and sponsors. Thanks to all of our teammates for the golf lessons and good company. 👏🏻 We’re already looking forward to next year!

The ALS Canada Walk to End ALS is being held in various locations in Ontario throughout the month of June. This cause is close to our hearts and we were happy to be able to donate and support again this year. 💜

The team that we supported raised $15,136 alone so we are hopeful that ALS Society of Canada is able to reach their fundraising goal of $2,320,000! 👏🏻👏🏻

ALS is a progressive, incurable disease that has a devastating impact on both the patients and their families. ALS Society of Canada not only invests in research funding but they also help provide equipment and support to families dealing with this disease.
