Lakeside Church

Our friends at Royal City Mission are doing incredible work every single day: offering hot meals, showers, storage lockers, coffee, snacks, and a welcoming place for people who need a little support, dignity, and hope.

So this Sunday, June 14, we’re asking Lakesiders to bring donations of shelf-stable snack foods (like we did with mugs a few months ago) to help them out.

Here are some ideas:

✔️ Granola bars, chewy bars, protein bars
✔️ Muffins or soft baked snacks
✔️ Meat sticks
✔️ Packages of crackers and cheese
✔️ Pudding cups
✔️ Juice boxes
✔️ Bags of popcorn, chips, pretzels, snack crackers
✔️ Individually packaged snacks
✔️ Other easy-to-enjoy grab-and-go items

Note: We’re told they have an abundance of applesauce right now, so if possible, please avoid this item.

These snacks may seem like a small thing, but they can make a real difference for someone having a hard day.

A quick bite, a hot coffee, and being treated with kindness and dignity matter more than we sometimes realize.
