Fit tip Friday… if you feel like you eat really healthy, move regularly but still can’t get a handle on your weight, body pain, or chronic illness, it’s time to start tackling emotions. It’s amazing what the body can hang onto from past traumas, relationships, and unresolved emotions which can present in weight gain, body aches, and various chronic health issues 😷
Here is a pic of my sister and I on her perfect day this summer radiating happiness, peace and acceptance 🥰 it’s amazing what tackling emotions can do for you. It’s hard but you have to do the work!

Welcome to the team, Jenna! 🙌
Jenna will be joining us to lead the Yoga for Desk Workers program starting the week of October 17th 🌟
Jenna offers a unique blend of teaching by combining her own experiences living with Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome with her knowledge as a certified yoga instructor, personal trainer and nutrition coach. In her classes, you'll find her emphasizing pain free movement, neurobiomechanics, and breath work, all while helping you tap into your own body wisdom so that you can learn how to work towards your health goals in a way that works for you. She designs her classes to be accessible for all bodies and levels of abilities!

All personal training sessions are conducted in our private PT studio that is not shared during training times. Hourly wage is higher than competing corporate gyms 😉

Hey you… yes you! The one sitting at your desk; first, take a moment to sit up nice and straight (gotcha, I knew you were slouching 😉) and read about this program designed just for YOU!
The most common injuries and imbalances I see with clients come from the amount of time they spend at their desk! So, we’re running our specialized 6 WEEK registered program specifically designed to address:
✔️ neck and shoulder pain
✔️low back pain
✔️hip tightness & discomfort
✔️weak/sore wrists
✔️work related stress
This program will be taught by the amazing Jenna, who is a chronic pain coach and yoga instructor! The program is available both virtually and In-studio starting the week of October 17th🧘🏻♀️ 🧘🏾♂️ 🧘
Choose from two time options:
1) Monday/Thursday 12:15-12:45PM lunchtime yoga classes
2) Thursday 5:30-6:30pm evening yoga
(You will either be registering for one or the other - both programs give you access to 1 hour of instruction per week)
In-studio spaces are limited to 6, register now to secure your spot!

Welcome to the Pilates instructing team, Shannon! 🙌
Shannon is a Registered Physiotherapist practicing locally in Guelph. She began teaching clinical pilates in 2011 after completing her training through STOTT Pilates in mat and reformer. After 10 years of treating orthopedic concerns and sports injuries, she transitioned into pelvic health physiotherapy with a special interest in perinatal training and recovery, and post-partum return to sport/activity. She is a Certified Pre- and Post-natal Coach through Girls Gone Strong. Shannon is most passionate about helping people achieve their fitness goals without pelvic floor symptoms.
Shannon grew up dancing in Guelph and still has a soft spot for dance related strength, endurance, and balance training.
Outside of the studio, Shannon enjoys lazy days with her kids, exploring the city and finding the best coffee spots in town.
