Tom, Sharon, and Cam had a great day volunteering Career Fair in Elora. They spoke to over 500 students about all of the career possibilities in insurance, and how we protect farmers and their livelihoods each and everyday. Last week, our President & CEO, Tom Seaman and Halwell Director, Avon Giddings, were honoured to attend a ceremonial ribbon-cutting event and an opportunity to tour the newly developed space.

The Special Care Nursery opens today and patients have begun transitioning into this enhanced facility. Witnessing the completing of this project is incredibly rewarding, knowing that this space will greatly benefit families during in times of need. ❤️

We are so excited to announce that following the Special General Meetings of both Dumfries Mutual and Halwell Mutual this past Wednesday, policyholder members of both companies have voted in favour of amalgamation! Approval now remains subject only to final approval of the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario. While we await this final stage of approval, we anticipate that effective January 1st, 2024, we will be operating Halwell Dumfries Mutual Insurance Company!
