As you are aware, The Grande Prairie Wildfire danger remains HIGH . There is a Fire Restriction in place for the entire County of Grande Prairie, along with the towns of Beaverlodge, Sexsmith and Wembley. A fire restriction prohibits the use of wood campfires on public land but does allow wood campfires inside provincial campgrounds and private property in an approved fire pit, including inside County campgrounds. Fire permits may be restricted, suspended, or cancelled, and no new fire permits will be issued. Hopefully, some much needed rain will happen in the next short while.

**Edit: I was confirmed that the trespassers did make entry onto the property and into a building on the property.
We just had a report of a locked gate having the chain cut on a rural property on TWP 710, just west of Range Road 73. It has been reported to the RCMP. There was a No Trespassing sign attached to the gate post. No confirmation that the property was trespassed. Tour your entrances that don't get used regularly to ensure safeguards are still in place.
