It is a businesses discretion to close for the day and offer their staff the day off -typically without pay (if an employee has vacation pay accumulated most will choose to utilize that). If you are struggling with payroll questions around holidays, overtime, and other issues - then please reach out to our office and consider having Trans Dynamic Services assist with your payroll.
