Hello! We’re an Indigenous-owned and operated web development
and full-stack marketing agency.

Proudly Indigenous-owned and operated, slightly nerdy, and very friendly!

As a majority Indigenous-owned and led business, we approach this work with care, this month and year-round. We're grateful for all the relationships we've made over the years.

June is National Indigenous History Month in Canada, a time to recognize and celebrate the histories, cultures, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples.

At IT Horizons and Saltmedia, working alongside Indigenous organizations and businesses is part of what we do year-round. These relationships are grounded in respect, trust, and a shared commitment to meaningful, community-focused work.

While we don’t always speak publicly about specific projects due to cybersecurity, privacy, and confidentiality requirements, we’re grateful for the partnerships we’ve built and the work we’re able to contribute to together.

We’re back from the Indigenous Trailblazers Summit, and we’re still thinking about the people we met and the conversations we had. It was such a great event!

We were especially proud to attend alongside our students and one of our contractors. Supporting the next generation and creating opportunities for growth is an important part of how we move forward.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by and took the time to connect. We’re grateful to be part of a growing community that supports one another. Let’s continue to build something meaningful together.

If you missed connecting, please email [email protected] and let’s set something up!

Here’s the second video in the Starting Home Fires campaign, with Indigenous-led HIV messaging shaped by community voices.

For this Queen’s Care video, C.I.A Solutions INC met Canadian drag queen Jaylene Tyme in Vancouver and received special permission to film in Stanley Park.

“As Indigenous people, we deserve respect no matter who we are or how we show up in the world. HIV is no different.”

Our team is honoured to be part of the Starting Home Fires project, creating Indigenous-led HIV messaging shaped by community voices.

This was the first video created for the campaign. C.I.A Solutions INC blew us away with their videography and care in storytelling.

"We carry many kinds of medicine, traditional and new. HIV medications are medicines too."

We hear the phrase “in the cloud” all the time, but what does it really mean for your data? Every file, photo, or system you rely on lives somewhere, and someone is responsible for looking after it.

That’s where data stewardship comes in. Do you know where your data is stored, who can access it, and which laws protect it? Understanding these basics can help you make more informed choices and keep your data in safe hands.

Red Dress Day Matters

Today, May 5, is the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit+ people (MMIWG2S).

As an Indigenous woman-owned business, Red Dress Day holds special significance for the Saltmedia team and our sibling company IT Horizons. It’s a time to remember those who are missing, honour lives taken too soon, and stand with families and communities and those we never met.

You can take time to learn more by attending a local event, reading and sharing information, or talking with family and friends about why this day matters.

Awareness helps build understanding, respect, and stronger communities.
