Let's team up to foster a healthy school community! Alberta Health Services reports colds are contagious and are spread when a sick person coughs or sneezes around you. They report children with a cold are contagious for up to five days after they first get sick, and to keep them home if they have a fever or are coughing a lot. 📣 Free Speech & Language Screenings for Children Born in 2022 or 2023!
Are you concerned about your child’s speech or language development? The Grande Prairie Public School Division (GPPSD) is offering free screenings to help identify if your child may benefit from early support through the PUF Pre-Kindergarten program: A fun, play-based program for children with developmental delays.
Your child may be eligible if they:
• Are 3 or 4 years old (as of Dec 31, 2026)
• Will attend a GPPSD school for Kindergarten
