That's a wrap on our 2025-2026 vocal lesson year!
Last night we heard some amazing performances by our talented students (missing a few faces from this picture) and what an honour it has been to share in their vocal journeys! A huge thank you to all who came out to support these performers, the local arts, and a woman-owned local business 🎶🎶 (now to sleep for a week 😴)

The last 3 days have been full of recital rehearsal here at our NEW location!

We are so excited to host our final event for this semester and we hope to see all of you there! There are over 25 pieces on the program to be performed tomorrow night - it is one of the best ways you could spend a Thursday evening 🎶🎶

Mark your calendars for June 4th! Our Spring Recital is right around the corner & this is one event you absolutely don't want to miss. We have an incredible line up of performances, including a selection of pieces from our Festival students. The event begins at 6:30pm at Collins Recital Hall on the NWP campus. Tickets are $10 at the doors - cash or e-transfer available.

Hope performed for the first time at Provincials on Saturday. A bit of a rocky start, but she finished strong (which is WAY more important) and achieved Distinction for her Sondheim performance. Very proud of her for pushing through to the end! Alberta Music Festival Association

Thursday, Jessica performed twice! Once for her musical theater up-tempo, and later that day her contemporary selection. It was a whirlwind, but she achieved a Superior grade in both categories! Alberta Music Festival Association

So, shocker, I fell behind on posting while we were at Provincials (I know, crazy). I am going to post a couple updates today of our Thursday and Saturday performers, so stay tuned!

June has arrived! Our Spring Recital is this Thursday & then summer lessons start soon after that!

What a talented first half of the 17 and under Ballads today! I (Danica) will be at the second half this evening - how lucky am I!? Ray knocked it out of the park with Her Voice, and even had the opportunity to work with the adjudicator during adjudication. Feedback from these top tier professionals is why Provincials is such a wonderful learning opportunity for our students.
