Yesterday, it rained all day, and storms just kept brewing in the distance.
As I watched the dark clouds move in, I couldn’t help but think… this is exactly what living with chronic illness feels like.
There are days when everything seems okay, but deep down, you can feel a flare brewing. You recognize the subtle signs because you’ve lived through them so many times before.
You hope this time you’re wrong.
But more often than not, the storm arrives anyway.
Living with chronic illness teaches you to recognize the storm long before anyone else can see it.

I originally shared these thoughts as a reel, but I wanted to post them as images too because I know reels aren’t always easy to read.
These words come from my own experience living with chronic illness, and I know many of you will see yourselves in them too.

Fibromyalgia is more than just chronic pain or feeling tired. It’s a complex condition that affects the entire body and can make even simple daily tasks difficult.
