Busy Bins

This hot chocolate & gingerbread theme has always been a favorite.
This year we added hot chocolate recipe cards that I found on Etsy, and they are a huge hit!!

It’s been a while since I’ve put together a sensory bin, and lately I’ve felt a bit disconnected from my creative side.
But today, I knew it was time to dive back in and make something special for my girls — a cozy, fall-themed bin and non-toxic, taste-safe playdough that smells like cinnamon and apple pie 🍂✨

It was a pleasure making sensory bins for the Grade 1 class. The teacher added direction cards to incorporate some math.

I was going to write a long post explaining why Its been silent over here for the last 6 months.
Truth is, adjusting to life after having baby #3 was harder than I thought it was going to be. I had to take a step back to focus on family, getting through the newborn stage, daily life chaos, and my own postpartum journey.

What better way to get back into the swing of things than with a birthday bin for a loyal customer!

Ever wondering what to do on those cold/snowy/rainy days without screen time?
This activity was so much fun!

Try this👇
- Black light from Amazon
- UV acrylic paint
- 2 boxes of salt

Divide the salt into ziplock bags and add UV paint. Mix really well and let it dry!

We added some glow-in-the-dark rocks, light up space ships and I bought UV body paint just because my girls love face paint.

Add some scoops and anything else you have that glows. I didn't know the magnetiles lit up until we put the lights on, it was a great added bonus for play!

My daughter asked me if I dried grass for this one, so I guess I nailed it 🙌
