Prompts are a skill!

As educators, we all know the importance of communication—whether it's with our students, colleagues, or now, with AI tools. In my book, *ChatGPT for Teachers: Mastering the Skill of Crafting Effective Prompts*, I argue that writing prompts isn’t an art, it’s a skill. And just like any skill, it can be developed and refined through practice.

With AI becoming a powerful part of our teaching toolkit, learning to write effective prompts is essential. It’s the key to getting the most out of tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and others. The better your prompt, the more accurate and useful the AI's response.

In this post, I’ve shared some practical strategies to help you get started with writing clear, concise prompts. Whether you're giving instructions, providing reference text, or breaking down complex tasks, these strategies will guide you to communicate more effectively with AI and enhance your classroom outcomes.

If you want to truly master the skill of prompt crafting, I invite you to grab a copy of my book, *ChatGPT for Teachers*. It’s packed with insights, strategies, and expert advice tailored specifically for educators like you. Let's embrace AI responsibly and make it work for us in the classroom!
