One day, a boy was walking down a road when a frog called to him, “Boy, if you kiss me, I will turn into a beautiful princess.”
The boy picked up the frog, smiled at it, then placed the frog into his pocket. A few minutes later, the frog said, “Boy, if you kiss me and turn me back into a beautiful princess, and I will stay with you for a week.”

The boy took the frog from his pocket, smiled at it, then put it back into his pocket. A few minutes later, the frog said, “Boy, if you kiss me and turn me back into a beautiful princess, I will do ANYTHING you want!”

The boy took the frog from his pocket, smiled, and put it back. Finally, the frog cried, “Boy, what is the matter, I have told you that I am a beautiful princess, and if you kiss me, I will stay with you and do ANYTHING you want!”

I now have Internet in the country 24/7. I also have a cell phone and 50 GB per month shared data, all for $85.00/month. I didn't want to pay something like Xplornet $99.99+/month ON TOP of my phone. So how did I do it? OK, I deal with Telus and they have something they call Smart Hub for rural Internet. I would have happily chosen that for $65.00/month, but it is not available here(‽) so I had to get creative. Well, I bought thru Telus an 8.4" Samsung Tab A with 5G (not that 5G is available here yet but LTE will do), put in a nano SIM card under a new '431' Manitoba number with Telus Peace of Mind Connect and all I had to do was pay for the tablet. One caveat tho... Unlike MTS that will throttle you back to 512 Kbps including tethering and hotspot after you cap your data, Telus will disable your tether and hotspot. Still, massive savings. :)
