This is the real Charlotte Amalie Grimm, the model for Lotte in "Little Sister Grimm." Portrait done in 1808, when she was 15 years old, by one of the 'other,' less famous brothers Grimm, Ludwig Emil. Come and meet her in 3 weeks!

Workshops in puppetry and object theatre this and last week with the students of SPIDER Elementary on the Sunshine Coast, a vibrant home-schooling community. It was thrilling to work with these kids and to see what ideas and stories they come up with!

"IDOL" has won the "Theremin Award" for Best Sound Design at the First Hermetic International Film Festival, and also Best Experimental Short Film at the 2023 Portland International Short Film Festival, with a screening to come in April 2024.
