In May, Links2Care had the opportunity to attend the AI Transformation Summit in Toronto organized by Techify; an event focused on moving from curiosity about AI to practical, real-world applications.
One key message stood out: knowledge is power.
New technology can feel unfamiliar, even overwhelming at times. But the more we learn, the more opportunities we begin to see; opportunities to work smarter, support our teams, and enhance how we serve our community.
As we continue exploring how AI and technology can support our work, staying curious and open to learning will be essential. It’s through this mindset that we can continue to adapt, grow, and deliver the high-quality, person-centered care our community relies on.

June is National Indigenous History Month; a time to learn about, reflect on, and celebrate the rich cultures, traditions, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples.
On June 21, we also recognize National Indigenous Peoples Day, a meaningful opportunity to honour the diverse histories, voices, and strengths of Indigenous communities across Canada.
This day, held on the summer solstice, carries deep cultural and spiritual significance; a time of connection, renewal, and celebration that has been honoured by Indigenous Peoples for generations.
At Links2Care, we recognize the importance of listening, learning, and supporting pathways toward understanding and respect.
Today, and every day, we celebrate the resilience, knowledge, and lasting impact of Indigenous Peoples in our communities.

Today is World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (WEAAD).
It’s a time to raise awareness and take a stand against the abuse, neglect, and exploitation of older adults, an issue that often goes unseen, but affects communities everywhere.
Every older adult deserves to live with dignity, respect, and safety. By learning the signs, starting conversations, and supporting one another, we can help build stronger, safer communities for all.
