DJ/producteur canadien, Etienne Ozborne a une riche histoire musicale. Avant de devenir DJ, Etienne a perfectionné ses compétences de percussionniste et de batteur dans un groupe alternatif. Dans les années 90 comme beaucoup d’entre nous, il est tombé amoureux de la musique house et n’a jamais regardé en arrière. Son parcours professionnel impressionnant est jalonné de réalisations diverses dont avoir sorti des productions sur certains des plus grands labels de l’industrie à savoir : Strictly Rhythm, Defected, Stealth, Cr2, Hotfingers, Cube, Spinnin, Hed Kandi, Zulu et Ultra. Le soutien à ses productions a attiré l’attention dans tous les domaines du spectre de la musique house spécifiquement de Mark Knight, Fedde Le Grand, Steve Angello, Prok & amp; Fitch, Roger Sanchez et Erick Morillo. L’un des moments forts de sa carrière a été de sélectionner et de mixer la 10 e compilation ‘édition anniversaire’ du mythique Bal en Blanc de Montréal. De plus, Etienne a partagé la scène pour l’événement principal avec David Guetta, David Morales et Kaskade jouant devant une foule de plus de 20 000 clubbeurs. Sur le circuit international, Etienne a été un DJ en demande ayant joué notamment aux Etats-Unis, en Russie, au Mexique, au Brésil, Espagne, Portugal, Corée du Sud, Maldives et Allemagne.

Le samedi 4 avril, on vous invite à vivre une journée et une soirée complètement uniques au nouveau restaurant Tonalli.
Dès 14h, nous lançons l’événement avec une ambiance conviviale et originale : une vente de vêtements style friperie où chacun pourra dénicher des pièces uniques. Tous les bénéfices de cette vente seront remis à l’organisme Héberge-Ados, qui travail auprès des jeunes afin de contrer l’itinérance et la toxicomanie.

Pour accompagner l’après-midi, le DJ/Productuer de renommée Étienne Ozborne sera présent avec une sélection spéciale sur vinyle, créant une atmosphère musicale chaleureuse pendant que vous profitez des boissons et bouchés sélectionnés.

En soirée, l’événement se transforme en souper festif/chaleureux où des DJs assureront l’ambiance.
Puis, lorsque la nuit s’installe, le plancher de danse s’ouvre pour célébrer le renouveau et le nouveau concept du Tonalli. Plusieurs artistes de la région et un duo provenant de Montréal vous transporteras pour un voyage Whimsical.

Une journée complète à l’image de Whimsy : musique, communauté, spontanéité et bonne énergie.

On Saturday, April 4, We invites you to experience a truly unique day and night at the new Tonalli restaurant.
Starting at 2 PM, the event begins with a warm and welcoming atmosphere featuring a vintage-style clothing sale, where guests can discover unique pieces. All proceeds from the sale will be donated to Héberge-Ado, a community organization supporting youth facing homelessness and substance challenges.
To accompany the afternoon, DJ/Producer Étienne Ozborne will deliver a special vinyl set, creating a soulful musical ambiance while guests enjoy drink specials and good company.
As the evening unfolds, the event transitions into a festive dinner setting, where DJs will continue to shape the atmosphere.
Then, as night falls, the dance floor opens to celebrate the renewal and new concept of Tonalli. Several regional artists, along with a duo from Montreal, will take you on a musical journey in true Whimsy fashion.
A full day in the spirit of Whimsy: music, community, spontaneity, and good energy.

Hicky & Kalo are a DJ/producer duo from Montreal, Canada. Both classically trained musicians, the young pair are founders of the budding imprint Plaisirs Sonores Records. The duo has launched their name into the world of electronic music through their intimate involvement within the melodic house scene as well as their commitment to their deep, driving, trademark progressive sounds.

In addition to their residency at the world-renowned Stereo Montreal club, Hicky & Kalo have established their music and names on a global scale with performances at SXM Festival, Piknic Electronik, Igloofest, IleSoniq, as well as label showcases at ADE.

With releases and mixes featured on some of the best platforms for house music like Watergate, Sudbeat, Warung, When We Dip, Balance Series and Replug, Hicky & Kalo are constantly paving the way and re-defining the melodic underground sound.

Whimsy Event is honored to welcome these artists at City at Night, one of Ottawa’s most renowned underground venues.
