We are very pleased to hear that the evacuation order is being lifted effective tomorrow morning. While there is still plenty of activity going on fighting this fire, we will be able to resume operations from our Fort Simpson base both on floats and wheels.

Community Notice – Evacuation Lifted Visit the post for more.

To all our valued clients and passengers,

As some of you may be aware, Fort Simpson has been evacuated due to the proximity of a wildfire. Thankfully no houses/businesses have been lost yet and we are being fully supported by Fire fighters from all over Canada both from the air and on the ground. There are extensive sprinkler systems set up throughout the neighbourhoods and people working tirelessly day & night.

While no one is certain how long this evacuation will last, it is looking more and more likely to be weeks rather than days. That said, we are planning to resume limited services once it is safe to do so from alternative locations until the evacuation order is lifted.

Floatplane access to the Nahanni National Park will be from any of these 3 locations; Blackstone Territorial Park, Lindberg Landing or Fort Liard.

Wheel flights will be limited to essential service flights only.

All flights will be subject to weather & current fire conditions.
