It has been an awesome summer with the covid restrictions lifted. I have the pleasure of mentoring a new young racewalk coach (Samantha) in Edmonton and it's been a great journey for both of us! We now have 4 pre-teens racewalking! We've had excellent participation in 4 track meets already of our juniors. One more at Rollie Miles on September 11.

I encourage our local community to come out to the benefit concert I'm playing bass at on Saturday night at the Legacy Park bandshell in Fort Saskatchewan, starting at 8 pm for the opening act. Here is a write-up about it.

Results have been posted on the website for the Canada USA Junior Match that took place on August 7. It was an amazing turn out and we are so glad to have hosted it this year. Thank you to all the athletes who participated and to the volunteers who helped coordinate the event. It would not have been possible without the help of so many people. Thank you!
